Community Fair & Car Show
 
RCT members Don Smith (hosting) with his 1936 John Deere tractor and 1960 Thunderbird, Mike Hinsch with his 1958 Edsel, Jim Sweet with is 1957 Thunderbird, and Paul & Sharon Lawson with their 1957 Chrysler Imperial participated in the Springwater Grange’s Car Show on September 19th.  The car show, drawing about 60 entrants, was a major part of the annual Community Fair.  Driving out there to an unfamiliar place in the country on a foggy morning was a bit of a challenge, but we made it.  The fog had cleared by the time I reached the location and it turned out to be a perfect day for a car show.  Hot and tasty breakfast sandwiches were available in the morning.  Great burgers barbequed by Burger Chef Don Smith were served up at lunch time.  Trophies were won by Don Smith and Mike Hinsch.
