As of late February 2021 no events are planned for the club. Hopefully Covid-19 will go away soon and we can get back to something called normal. Until then follow the guidelines whether you/we like them or not (I don't) and stay healthy.
As we all know Covid-19 shut down the Rose City Thunderbirds as well as Oregon, the USA, and pretty much the world.
During 2020 we had our annual Kick-Off dinner at the Stock Pot, a tour of the World of Speed (the last one forever as it has closed), a tour to view Quilt Block Barns in Washington County, and a picnic at Mike and Nancy Hinsch's house. Other events made it to the drawing board and then got "2020'd" and never happened.
2021 is not off to any better of a start. Our Kick-Off dinner has been cancelled and at this time no other events are planned.
Thanks are due to President Roger Kelley and BirdWatcher Editor Becky Jensen for keeping us informed as event after event got shot down.
You are probably aware via their communications that our 2020 officers will remain in place for 2021. Also that the Executive Committee decided to wave 2021 dues (except new members will still be required to pay dues).
Note that several pages have a new photo on top. We have upgraded the website to a higher level of service from our host. With that I am able to have a different photo on each page. If you have a good landscape layout photo of your car send me a .jpg file so that I can post it. I'll begin taking specific photos at our events of individual cars for posting. - firstname.lastname@example.org
Bigger photos - Are you aware that if you click on one of the photos you will get a larger image to view? Left/Right arrows will then be available for you to scroll through all of the photos on that page.
It seems as though some of the new pages don't open fully. On those there is an icon on the bottom right with something that looks like an enlarge symbol. Click on that and it will open that page in a new window at full size.
