Saturday, September 16th was a great day for a rally through the country side and guess what: Cliff Colvin and Marilyn Kirkland had one planned for us. For the 7 Classic Thunderbirds, one Retro Bird and one Explorer it was a fun day. We started out in Forest Grove and after following some arcane instructions we ended up having lunch at Golden Valley Brewery in McMinnville. Al Hillier had his Grandson, Austin Graham, along as his navigator; that is him above playing the piano for us at GVB. Cliff and Marilyn had several pages of clues and questions for us to follow. I think all of us managed to get to the end without having to open the panic envelope. I've driven roads around Forest Grove, Yamhill, Lafayette, Newberg and McMinnville for years but we were on roads I've never heard of and certainly have never been on. That is what makes an event like this so much fun. Great Job Cliff and Marilyn - Thank You.
