Details of each event will be in the Bird Watcher and posted here as available
June 20, 2020 A Date to Remember The Rose City Thunderbirds will have their first event in months! This is a 6ft or more event as most of it will be in your own car.
We will be taking the Quilt Barn Trail in Washington County Don’t know what a Quilt Block Barn is? Come and find out! There are four (4) different trails available, we will take Trail #1. It is a 50 mile drive with 20 Quilt Block Barns along the way.
The starting point is John & Oleta Sailors’ house: 1876 NE Thomas St Hillsboro, OR 9:30 AM
You will be given three sets of directions 1. Explicit directions to the starting point of the Quilt Barn Tour 2. The Washington County Visitor’s Bureau Quilt Barn Tour map folder, and 3. Explicit directions from the end of the Tour to Dennis & Mi Suk Leedom’s house for lunch
The 3rd set of directions will have numerous places listed where you can stop and purchase your own lunch such as Subway, McDonalds, DQ, 5 Guys, and others. Please bring your own beverage also. With this arrangements each person is responsible for the safety of their own food.
At the Leedom’s there will be some tables set up and maybe a few chairs, you are encouraged to bring your own chair. We will be parking the Thunderbirds on the lawn and driveway. We can sit at the few tables or around the cars.
Come on out and lets have some fun! We will need a count of those attending so the Leedom’s will have an idea of how much space is needed.
